Russian nickel cathodes are produced by Norilsk Nickel (Nornickel) — the world's largest nickel producer — to GOST 849-2008, achieving Ni+Co purity of ≥99.93% equivalent to LME Class 1 nickel. Norilsk Nickel's Kola and Norilsk operations produce full-plate cathodes (700×700mm, approx. 70 kg) and cut cathodes (50×50mm pieces). SFERA LLC supplies Nornickel-origin nickel cathodes with full chemical analysis certificates confirming Ni+Co purity and all trace element contents. Each consignment is subject to SGS or Bureau Veritas pre-shipment inspection.
