Chemical
Nitric Acid (56% / 98%)
HS2808.00.00Standard
Nitric acid is produced at Russian nitrogen chemical complexes as an intermediate in the ammonium nitrate and fertiliser production chain. With global demand driven primarily by ammonium nitrate for fertilisers and ANFO explosives, nitric acid is also used in metal cleaning, pharmaceuticals, and organic synthesis. SFERA LLC supplies nitric acid from certified Russian producers in both dilute (56%) and concentrated (98%) grades, with full analysis confirming HNO₃ content, density, and key impurities. Concentrated nitric acid (98%) is classified as IMDG Class 8 / subsidiary 5.1 and requires specialist stainless steel or lined tankers.
