Russian technical-grade methanol is produced at major chemical complexes including Metafrax (Gubakha) and Tomskneftekhim to GOST 2222-95, achieving purity of ≥99.85% CH₃OH. Russia is one of the world's top methanol exporters with significant production capacity based on abundant natural gas feedstock. SFERA LLC supplies methanol in ISO tank containers and chemical tankers with full GOST analysis confirming CH₃OH content, water, aldehydes, permanganate test, and non-volatile residue. Methanol's diverse applications span biodiesel production, formaldehyde synthesis, fuel blending, and marine fuel. All product is classified IMDG Class 3 / subsidiary 6.1.
