Granular sulphur from Russian gas processing operations and oil refineries is produced to GOST 127.1-93 with purity ≥99.98% S in bright yellow granules of 1–6 mm. Russia is one of the world's largest sulphur producers, with significant volumes recovered from natural gas sweetening and crude oil desulphurisation operations. SFERA LLC supplies granular sulphur with full GOST analysis confirming sulphur purity, ash, organic matter, arsenic, and moisture content. Granular sulphur is the internationally preferred transport form, with significantly lower handling and safety requirements versus molten sulphur.
