Technical-grade hydrochloric acid in concentrations of 31–36% HCl is produced at Russian chemical plants to GOST 857-95, primarily as a co-product of chlorination reactions and PVC production. SFERA LLC supplies HCl in rubber-lined ISO tank containers and HDPE-lined vessels with full GOST analysis confirming HCl content, Fe, sulphate, arsenic, and residue. All HCl shipments comply with IMDG Class 8 corrosive requirements. Industrial-grade HCl in 31–36% solution is the standard commercial form for most industrial acid applications.
