HS2815.12.10StandardGOST 2263-79 CAS: 1310-73-2
Caustic soda (sodium hydroxide, NaOH) is one of the most widely consumed industrial chemicals globally, produced by the chlor-alkali electrolysis process at Russian chemical plants to GOST 2263-79. SFERA LLC supplies both liquid caustic (48–50% NaOH solution) and solid caustic (≥98.5% NaOH flakes/pearls). Caustic soda is classified IMDG Class 8 corrosive and requires specialist handling equipment. Liquid caustic is supplied in ISO tank containers or chemical tankers, and solid caustic in 25 kg bags or 1 MT FIBC.
