Group I base oils (SN150 and SN500) produced by solvent refining of vacuum distillate at Russian refineries represent the primary lubricant base stock for a wide range of industrial, automotive, and marine lubricant formulations. Russia operates major lube base oil refining complexes at Lukoil (Perm), Rosneft (Novokuibyshevsk), and Gazprom Neft (Omsk), producing Group I stocks to GOST 9621-73 and international standards. SFERA LLC supplies Group I base oil with viscosity grades SN150 and SN500, with viscosity index ≥95 and sulphur content 0.03–0.3%.
