Fertiliser-grade granular sulphur (elemental sulphur, S0) is produced at Russian gas processing plants and oil refineries as a recovered by-product, conforming to GOST 127.1-93 with purity of ≥99.95% S. As a slow-release sulphur source, elemental sulphur granules require soil microbial oxidation to sulphate before plant uptake, providing a sustained 6–12 month sulphur supply. SFERA LLC supplies agricultural-grade granular sulphur for direct soil application, sulphur-bentonite fertiliser manufacture, and sulphur-coating of urea. Russia's natural gas processing industry provides abundant, consistent supply at globally competitive prices.
