Sulphur-Coated Urea (SCU)
HS3102.10.10Standard
Sulphur-Coated Urea (SCU) combines 36–38% total nitrogen with 18–20% elemental sulphur in a single coated granule, providing both slow-release nitrogen and sulphur nutrition in one application. The sulphur coating regulates urea dissolution, extending nitrogen availability from 6 to 12 weeks compared to standard urea, reducing leaching losses by up to 30% and improving nitrogen use efficiency. SFERA LLC supplies SCU from Russian producers with full release curve analysis and nutrient verification on every batch. SCU is increasingly adopted in precision agriculture, professional turf management, and tropical plantation programmes where sustained nitrogen supply and sulphur nutrition are simultaneously required.
